What is a jack used for?
Once your vehicle is lifted, you can go about your maintenance operations.
SEFAC offers a whole range of jack stands and trestles to support the lifted load in complete safety.
Your vehicle being stalled, you can proceed with your work.
If you want to extract kingpins, we offer our 60t press, in manual or hydropneumatic version.
If you wish to fit and remove the wheels of your vehicle, we also have hydraulic wheel stands with a capacity of 700 kg at your disposal. These are equipped with castor wheels and double rollers on the lifting arms. The arms are adjustable in the transverse direction and, depending on the model, are tiltable to facilitate the centering of the rim holes.
How to use a jack correctly?
It is important that the ground is flat and stable.
The jack is a lifting tool, not a chock. It is therefore strictly forbidden to work under the load without a safety device such as candles or trestles.
It is forbidden to exceed the indicated load.
It is necessary to check the correct positioning of the jack.
