Pit jack
The pit jack is located near the pit wheel lathe. It is intended to compensate for the sagging of the suspensions and/or the reduction in the diameter of the wheels (tire wear and reprofiling operations) after the machining operations of the pit wheel lathe. This reprofiling operation makes it possible to keep an identical level between the vehicle floor and the platforms in town.
